EROSS SC Hackathons: Driving Innovation in On-Orbit Servicing

Our friends from ORU BOAS project have reached a milestone that we're excited to share: the publication of a document defining the Design and Development requirements for any generic Orbit Replaceable Unit (ORU) or SatApp, transported in space by a dedicated Transporter.

The future of space operations is evolving, and In-Space Operations and Services (ISOS) are set to play a pivotal role in ensuring the sustainability and efficiency of space activities. EROSS SC is at the heart of this transformation, contributing to the development of advanced robotic servicing capabilities that will redefine how we interact with space assets.

The 17th European Space Conference, held on January 28-29, 2025, in Brussels, showcased significant advancements in space technology and policy. This month marks a significant milestone for the Consortium as we successfully completed the Preliminary Design Review (PDR) of our demonstration mission.
