Unveiling the Future of Space Robotics: Testing Linear Guides with EROSS SC! 🌌
We’re thrilled to announce the successful vibration tests conducted by our consortium partners, PIAP Space and specifically their engineers Ignacy Kraciuk and Łukasz Kozłowski, as part of the LARIS gripper test campaign at the Park Technologii Kosmicznych - Lubuskie PTK. We're proud to see PIAP Space leading the way in space robotics innovation!
Here’s what was achieved:
- Testing the performance of linear guides under mechanical vibrations.
- Designing a specialized setup to simulate load conditions in a robotic gripper.
- Reaching vibration levels akin to those experienced during rocket launches 🚀.
- This critical step was completed as part of the EROSS SC consortium’s cooperation.
- It’s a major leap forward in the development of the LARIS gripper!
