The EROSS SC project recently held a crucial Preliminary Design Review (PDR) meeting in Madrid, hosted by GMV.
This session focused on the ERGO/ESROCOS software framework —a key component for enhancing robotic autonomy in space mission. It also discussed the Servicer Vision System, which facilitates optical tracking of the Client Satellite for orbital rendezvous and proximity operations.
The main goal was to evaluate how the preliminary design stands up to the project's flight expectations. Insights from this review will shape strategies to advance the ERGO/ESROCOS and SVS’s development, targeting a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 6 by the project's completion in March 2025.
