Our project EROSS IOD was showcased at the EU Strategic Forum on In-Space Operations and Services (ISOS). The following key capabilities enabled by EROSS IOD were featured:
They are fitting perfectly with the future of the space ecosystem as defined by the European Commission's ACT IN SPACE. Supported by Horizon Europe, this initiative focuses on in-space operations and services (ISOS), including satellite servicing, assembly, manufacturing, recycling, and logistics in space. These operations will help extending satellite lifespans, via the use of technologies developed in EROSS, namely rendezvous, refueling and component replacement.
The shift towards adaptive space systems leverages automation, robotics, AI, and modular spacecraft concepts. These advancements are set to revolutionise how space assets are designed, produced, tested, and operated, fostering a circular economy in the space sector.
Join us as we lead Europe towards a flexible, cost-efficient and sustainable space future!
